Yea it's very dark almost black until it's in direct light.

Anyone ever been here? Is it a good place to practice and tool around? I know they have a practice area but are there some decent beginner trails to run? I was thinking about spending Saturday monring running around. Anyone interested?

I grew up in the high desert and everyone likes to dump on it but nighttime away from the light pollution of the city has some of the best nights looking at the sky imaginable. Anyone have any kid friendly campsite recommendations? Hook ups are nice but not 100% needed in the off seasons.
