Brand New Bronco

Hello From Orange County, CA. I sold my dirt bike and bought something with a roll cage. I’m 51 now, you know.

I’m definitely going to need some help with modifications. I don’t like the rims and tires (anyone wanna trade?) and would like a size bigger. 33”? Maybe a 1” lift for a lil more clearance?

New front bumper, a rear bumper with a trailer hitch, rock rails and a factory roof rack are on the list too.

I do plan to take this to the desert and up to big bear. It’s not a commuter car so comfort is not that important. I want a performer. Any tips on parts or local shops would be appreciated.

Nice a two door with a hardtop! Well i hope to see you up in big bear at the big bear bronco bash the weekend before Father’s Day. Lots of trails to have fun on with your new rig. I had a two door badlands on order from day one, but haven’t got it get yet so switched it to a bronco raptor…

Welcome, Paul! Yeah bigger tires are going to be a must for just about any off-roading. When we got our 2-door Base we took it out a couple of times bone stock on the stock tires and all, just to test it out. Everything worked great but the lack of ground clearance kept hindering us. Those low-hanging suspension link mounts and shock mounts bang on everything. Some bigger tires cured it and we were surprised how capable it is even without the Sasquatch pacakge.

Hoping to have my 22 badlands by the end of the month (if the shipping estimate holds up). So I'm gonna be in the same boat for hearing what people are modding/ changing!
