Anyone have a place they trust to have their transmission and transfer case looked over in the LA/OC area? But will travel a little further if I have to .

SK Performance Transmission (Steve) in Sun Valley. Tell him Eddy with blue bronco that he rebuilt the ZF5 referred you. It’s been a few years but he should remember me he did a great job and haven’t had any issues.
